The (Swiss) Coronets
The Coronets are making friends real fast. On 22 March, someone literally called 'beat man' emailed us, saying the following:

Yes! We had a last got some contact with the Swiss version of the Coronets - the people who always turn up first if you search for 'the Coronets', while we are numbered behind film reviews, cigar sellers, and jewellers who look like they might accept stolen goods.
So, I did indeed check out the Swiss Corras, and mailed them back:
Hi there, and thanks for this. I have checked out your page, and I was sorry to read that our Swiss cousins split up in 1995 - why was that? And is it possible for us to hear your work anywhere?

The Coronets
A shame about the split eh? He never did tell me why, and my ideas of a titanic 'euro-battle of the coronets' have had to be shelved. Moreover, we agreed to swap records, and although I sent one to him, he never returned. So much for the beat man. On top of this, there used to be a website detailing the Swiss Coronets, but it has since been removed. So, you can't even check it out. Sorry.
The (Swiss) Coronets derive their name from their love of America's Favourite Carpet.
