Get there by tube. Go to Tottenham Court Road and take the south oxford street exit.
Turn right as you come up to ground level, and after about 10 metres, at the Dionysus kebab emporium go right down charing cross road.
Walk down about 20 metres until you get to Foyles bookshop: this is on the corner of Manette street, so turn right here. The Acoustic café is maybe 10 metres down on the right.
The whole thing should take you about 2 minutes from Tottenham Court Road, so you don't need your hiking boots. I'll be wearing slippers.
