It look pretty simple to me - go to Turnham Green tube, walk down Turnham Green Terrace, and when you get to the Chiswick High Road turn right, then left down Devonshire Road. It's somewhere along here. I don't know where exactly but you shouldn't need your hiking boots.
It's not that far from Gunnersbury Tube I think but you can make your own way from there.
